We Have Spent Over $183m (₦66billion) On School Feeding Programme – Osinbajo

The Federal Government of Nigeria has confirmed that over $183 million had so far been invested so far in the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme at a cost of $1,767,169.48 per day.

According to the Vice President, Pro Yemi Osinbajo, by the end of 2018, with the number of new states in the country joining the programme, it would become the largest school-feeding programme in Africa.

According to a statement, he stated this on Thrsday in Tunisia, where he delivered a keynote address at the closing ceremony of the 20th Annual Global Child Nutrition Forum held at Four Seasons hotel in Tunis, stating that the programme “has been by all accounts, a remarkable success.
